About the soundtrack
The complete separate CD soundtrack of original music for A Quiet
Weekend in Capri was composed by Silivio Savarese, who, along with his
father Gey Savarese, developed the game.
Mentored by his cousin Maestro Edoardo
Catemario, one of the world’s leading guitarists, Silvio’s musical gift
obviously runs in the family. With his earliest works inspired by
musicians such as Mike Oldfield and Pat Metheny, Silvio’s compositions
have continued to evolve. As a member of the band, Nabla in the late 90s,
Silvio’s music was featured in several telecasts for Italian networks and
in numerous live concerts. In 1998, his composition "A Maze in the Desert"
won Best Composition Award during a well-known music festival in Italy.
With A Quiet Weekend in Capri Silvio applies his talents to
create a soundtrack which perfectly reflects the mood and atmosphere of
the game scenes.
